When you purchase a motorcycle trailer it generally only comes with the trailer as a base and all of the other motorcycle trailer accessories are add ons. Even though they are referred to as accessories you do need some of them in order to attach the trailer to your car and your bike to the trailer.

You will need a trailer hitch and hitch accessories to fit your car and trailer. Hitch Classes are from 1 to 5 plus a 5th Wheel or Gooseneck Hitch. The tie down is a rail which attaches to the flatbed with a wheel choke to keep the wheels in place whilst the straps and ratchets go over the bike to keep it securely in place.
